Citizens of corporations have much of their information technology needs provided for by the parent company. Those at the home office can work hand in hand with support personnel and enjoy relatively quick responses to requests for assistance.
Those at satellite offices also rely on corporate support personnel but are separated by distance. You no longer watch over the shoulder of a support technician or have things fixed while you’re at lunch. Now you are the eyes and hands of a voice on the other end of a phone or an interactive player in a remote support session.
